Description
Cause: Some video codecs may or may not be supported (AV1 with opencv out-of-box)
Analysis: Need to determine which codecs or video types may not be supported, and how to support them. May warrant adding a transcoding layer
Acceptance Criteria:
- Discover which codecs are supported
- Discover which codecs are not supported
- If a transcoding layer is needed, determine how best to implement (if codec not supported, transcode on the fly? How long to cache for, in case other services need the video? etc.)
