A clear and concise description of the issue.

I am impressed by the new website, however, it has come to make things more difficult to read and more steps to search. I think its best with, bar on the left with all the categories I like the stuff at the top but an interactive search that automatically updates on the page that you already have open and theblue was easy to read and contrast with.

I am writing to understand better what I am missing in the design choices, searching (from the original tteck) was very straight forward and immediately got you a list of what you were looking for, this is alot more scorlling and smaller icons, more buttons that could overwhlem (In my opinion) and as cool as it looks its harder to read (i am not color blind, but I remmeber a few things from working on a color blind app project in college green is a common color blindes and the lack of contrast in the tons on the page could really hurt this. Maybe I am wrong?)

Like i said not sure where to get feedback sent or report maybe this was a little harsh Id love to help if ther is a change or set of changes moving forward that can be found, but Im still need to helping with open source.

Anyways, to add to my previous, i would definetly add the more I mess with this the more difficult it can be to search for what used to be click and go. Example, when I go to the categories, this flow shares an easy to navigate list of scripts. However, when going to the search bar thinking I can search said categories and scripts it opens up another window moving the user away from the original interface they were thinking they could search in. Leading to a long list of scrolling and trying to find the script they want.

In UX changing the interface, the location, and look of an expecting interface is not wise as confusion occurs and one has to reorient themselves to a view that was not expected.

I hope not to sound like complianing here but a deep issue with this new design the more I spend with it that I would like to help if there something I could offer even outside of this or to learn where I could find the plan that the community has for changes and planned ideas?

Example of what I mean, we are seeing oh look at the scripts that i have that you might also, like.......where is the side bar that allowed me to look at everything in that category at the same time with out clutter of other infromation ?

Example of information a user needs is

1. okay where or how do install this script that is front and center perfect,
2. When I am done installing where do i go----> port number and url?

• however, now the port number that was "easy" to find in its own place along with the necessary   nformation is mixed with the "If you need it information". 
  

3. if i have a problem where can i find more info?

I've rarely read anything more ridiculous—it's a community project. You're welcome to hire a senior front-end developer if you want.

@MickLesk I assume the issue might be related to the website redesign.

The previous version actually looked better and the UI felt more fluid.

Was there any specific problem with the old design that required a complete overhaul?

Yes, quite a few / enough.

1. It was built using GitHub Pages, meaning it was never native. It was very difficult to manage dependencies, etc.
2. There have been plenty of issues with the frontend in recent years, including a lack of features and information, etc.
3. At the same time, we migrated everything to a VPS, so we’re no longer dependent on GitHub.
4. The website’s JSON structure was sometimes very finicky. One mistake and the build would fail, data wouldn’t display, and so on.

That’s how it is in IT. Something new comes along, lots of people complain—you can’t make everyone happy. No one can do anything with sweeping statements like “Everything used to be better back in the day.”

By the way, we’ve already posted three threads over the past year to gather ideas, and virtually NO ONE has participated. Not even on Discord. So where are we supposed to get feedback? Its like the "Testing" Scripts in ProxmoxVED. Many People request Scripts and never respond if we spend a lot of time in this.

That doesn’t mean the website is finished yet—we’re still working on it every day.

I’ll be honest, I never saw any message or announcement that the page was going to change (though to be fair, I mostly live under a rock and my only source of information was the PVE Helper website itself).

Will there be an opportunity to contribute to it directly, or is it currently private?

Otherwise, the elements probably shouldn’t have an animated dropdown every single time. It might be better to just display all scripts directly.
