What is the idea?

Currently, the landing page for conda-docs and conda look very similar. This could potentially be confusing for users. We should consider a different structure to create the best possible user experience.

Why is this needed?

No response

What should happen?

Explore strategies we could take to remove one of these landing pages. A couple of options are:

  • Remove the conda-docs site completely?
  • conda-docs serves as the landing page and the landing page for the conda docs looks different enough to cue the user they are somewhere different.

There are surely more ideas for how to do this. These are just a couple of them.

  • Add bottom section with various conda projects and link directly to their documentation
