Initialization Phase

• Read the ordered offer: What was bought by the customer ?
• Set up a meeting with the responsible coolOrange sales person: What was sold by the coolOrange sales team?

  based on that, add or remove basic functions for the standard in POC Implementation Meeting Checklist #206
• Client and Server Environment requirements must be delivered before moving forward! (also one machine is possible)
• Focus now on receiving the API Documentation and API samples for creating the standard Plugin
• This issues can be done meanwhile Preparation of Test Environments #99

Proof of connection Phase (starts when initialization phase is finished)

• After the API requirements are here, do this issue ERP API Performance & Plugin development #176
• After the performance tests are made and the Plugin is finished, modify the client side that all basic functions are working,

• After the POC is ready follow this issue POC Implementation Meeting Checklist #206

Customization Phase (starts with scoping meeting ~ 1 week after standard presentation)

• Start with scoping meeting, find a checklist for the meeting here: Scoping meeting - Checklist #111
• One of the most common customization is the personal mapping based on the customer needs Mapping Vault - ERP #57
• While the scoping meeting much different topics / workflows / issues can come up.
  • Make notes of everything and create GitHub Issues for every topic which came up during the meeting.
  • On a second meeting with the customer prioritize these issues with the customer if they are Go-Live relevant or not.
  • Estimate the Go-Live relevant Issues and just focus on these for now.

Go-Live Phase (After Go-Live relevant Issues are implemented)

• After all Go-Live relevant issues are implemented, set up a meeting with the customer to demonstrate the integration.
• Now the integration goes live, you can follow this checklist: Go-Live Checklist #144
• From this point on you can work also on "Nice to have" issues from the customer.
  Make sure to always estimate the issues and check if they fit in the budget.
• The Project is finished when the customer is happy with the integration and now urgent issues are open, the PM will communicate it with the customer.

ToDo during the project

• Make sure to keep everyone up to date by writing states of the project (atleast one time a week would be perfect),
  use this issue for that: Project Status Overview & Updates #207
• If there are important things to know about the API or something significant change during the project, document it well in this issue: ERP API Performance & Plugin development #176
