- 259.8 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour or White Lily Bread Flour
- 10.4 grams (1 tablespoon) double-acting baking powder
- 6.7 grams (1 teaspoon) salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup milk (add until mixture leaves side of bowl)
- Preheat oven to 400F
- In a large bowl with a fork. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
- With a pastry blender cut in butter until the mixture resembles crumbs.
- Add milk and mix with fork until mixture forms soft dough that leaves side of bowl.
- Drop heaping tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Until golden brown on very bottom and white but not doughy on top. In a small oven bake on top rack to prevent bottoms from burning.
