Drop Biscuits

Servings: about 12

Ingredients

  • 259.8 grams (2 cups) all-purpose flour or White Lily Bread Flour
  • 10.4 grams (1 tablespoon) double-acting baking powder
  • 6.7 grams (1 teaspoon) salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup milk (add until mixture leaves side of bowl)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a large bowl with a fork. Mix together flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. With a pastry blender cut in butter until the mixture resembles crumbs.
  4. Add milk and mix with fork until mixture forms soft dough that leaves side of bowl.
  5. Drop heaping tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Until golden brown on very bottom and white but not doughy on top. In a small oven bake on top rack to prevent bottoms from burning.
  7. OR air fry at 325 for 22 minutes
