Redactor and ­

I have a question about redactor. Our editors would sometimes like to manually set soft hyphens.

You can write html entities in redactor, but after saving them, they become more or less invisible to the user (even in redactor's HTML view). So the user has no way to delete or edit these characters.

Is there a way to make these characters visible? In Redactor itself or at least in the HTMl view of Redactor?
