In the }bedrock.hier.create.fromsubset process, it might be beneficial to introduce an option to export the subset to a CSV file first and then rebuild the hierarchy by importing from that CSV.
Rationale:
In Planning Analytics v12, it appears that operations referencing subsets directly from the model are slower, likely due to live calculation overhead within the new engine.
By first exporting to CSV and then re-loading from the file, the hierarchy build process could potentially run faster and more stably.
Suggested Enhancement:
Add a new optional parameter or flag (e.g., pUseCSV = 1) that allows the process to:
