Overview

Plan Mode is an execution pattern where the system generates a PLAN.md before performing any work. This allows users to confirm direction, scope, and steps before the AI or developer begins implementation.

Goal

Ensure tasks begin with clear, shared understanding by producing a structured plan with steps, owners, and expected outputs.
This reduces rework, misalignment, and unclear reasoning.

Why This Matters
• Avoids “guessing” user intent
• Reduces back-and-forth corrections
• Enables collaboration & review
• Allows the user to approve or adjust before work proceeds
• Ensures repeatable, auditable workflows
