The code-writing experience in Dark is, in my opinion, excruciating. It feels like I am stuck in a tiny box and if I want to do anything more than a Hello World, I end up with strangely indented functions, unreadable code, and statements that become extremely hard to edit given the way Dark enforces argument dependency etc.
I also needed trig functions and found the math offerings to be slim. I understand you have since added (or will be adding) trig, but at the time that was a problem for me.
The final problem is that I worry about data privacy and accessibility. I guess I don't yet have enough trust in the platform to actually store sensitive information, and that made me hesitant to get in too deep developing an app that would pass around such info.
Overall though, my biggest issue was the writing experience. I dreaded having to edit anything I wrote, and that was the deal breaker.
However I love x10 the formalized relationships between code, db, and instant deployment, and I really hope to try the product again soon.
