How I would create an Option out of a value that is possibly null

A user says:

I'm still checking it out, it's a look to sink in.

But I really enjoyed how simple it is to start a new project, the way it's online deployed since the beginning and the traces.

Some stuff that came into my mind:

• About the Option type, it looks we only have the Just and Nothing, but how I would create an Option out of a value that is possibly null (coming from a request for example)? (maybe this one I could ask on slack didn't go there yet)
• I'm having some weird experiences with the code editor, it's way to strict and sometimes prevents me to do refactoring, I believe one time I had to rewrite the function from scratch. It would be nice to have a simple free text editor.
