When I want to zoom in or out I am frequently blocked and need to press ctrl. Even holding ctrl there are arbitrary limits in place.

you can zoom between 1:1 and “fit to screen” by scrolling with your mouse. Scroll while holding the Ctrl key to extend the zoom range to between 2:1 and 1:10.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like an option so that mouse wheel scrolls just keeps zooming in or out as long as I keep scrolling. No arbitrary limits.

Alternatives
The user could be allowed to configure the min and max zooms for with and without ctrl pressed. This would give more flexibility.

Looks like the docs need a bit of updating. Min zoom while holding ctrl is whatever percentage makes the image half the height or width of the center view (I see between 7 and 15% depending on image resolution); smaller than that doesn't really make any sense. Max zoom is 1600%, which is already extremely pixellated.

Yes, I did notice that it seemed to be more than 1:10. But I've still had a few cases where I did want to go in a bit further. I also really don't want to bother pressing the ctrl key.
