Use the following link: http://media.mot.gov.il/PDF/HofesMeyda/NOALP/Prat2012.pdf - chapter 4 - the costs for an accident:
Some of the relevant tables:

  • Page 72, table 2 - costs of injured, killed, properties.
  • Page 74, table 3 - costs of “suffering and pain”
  • Page 80, table 7 - The percentage of decreasing the number of accidents due to infrastructure improvements (For example, adding a traffic light in a junction can decrease the number of accidents in 21%)

Look for other interesting data in that document.
Create a map that shows the costs of accidents in Israel over the years.
A few suggestions - you can either follow them or create something of your own:
First show a general picture, without drill down to locations.
Create an interactive visualization with drilldown to roads and/or junctions and/or municipalities.
Be creative, what will be interesting to show?
What additional data (plots, tables) will help us in making a positive impact?
