Should a future Published date make a page invisible?

Hello everybody. I have written a trivial variation of the Draft extension which makes a page invisible when the Published date is in the future (I have done nothing more than changing twice the condition $page->get("status")=="draft" with strtotime($page->get("published"))>time(). I can publish this variation as a separate extension (for example with the name Autopublishing), but I wonder whether this shouldn't be the normal behaviour of the core, or of the Draft extension (whose condition would be $page->get("status")=="draft" || strtotime($page->get("published"))>time()). If I write a date in the future probably I do not wish anything different. I can imagine for example that someone writes several posts at a time, and for each one sets in advance a publication date.

But if it is better that core and Draft keep the present behaviour, no problem in publishing this variation. What do you think, @markseuffert?
