Hi! Thanks for being interested in our product. We are right now working on bugs in our kernel module. We have a plan to support Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, and we will start to support it soon. Stay tuned! |
Hi! thanks for the reply! |
We will start to support it in Q3/Q4. |
With the release of Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, which comes with linux 6.5, and with more modern hardware getting on the market there is a need for datto to have support for the 6.x kernels.
I am currently in said boat, using Ubuntu 24.04 on my framework 16 laptop, which needs 6.x kernels for the best performance.
however my boss has demanded i use datto so they can be certified to follow security rules.
i was looking around and in #349 was said that support was coming soon.
then i found #363 which adds support for kernel 6.6 and below.
is there any reason this hasn't been merged yet, and why a new version hasn't been released yet?
