In some cases, it is desired to have figure sizing determined dynamically with print-focused CSS styles such as @page rules or within a @media: print block. Since figure size is captured at load time, changes imposed by CSS do not take hold. I'm unsure what to do about this, but for now, the workaround is to make sure that sizing is applied in CSS prior to rendering.
