I installed the TMC2208 stepper drivers, and then installed the marlin firmware for new drivers without connections reversed. The Y and Z axis work, but the X axis will grind if I try and drive it, and sometimes it will move once or twice but then it will stop and not move at all until I re-upload the firmware. I followed the guides and used the M502 and M500 command after installing the firmware.

Hi, check the voltage/current on your TMC. For the moving with axis, are you using some software or just menu of printer. Also don't try to reupload, just reboot the printer. Will it work after reboot?
