<!--
Adapted from:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/55172153/it-is-possible-to-generate-console-highlighting-for-markdown-with-pandoc
Adapted by D. Deatrich to fit the context for console input/output:
1. prompt for regular user starts in the 1st column with '$' followed by a space
2. prompt for the root user starts in the 1st column with '#' followed by a space
3. Both prompt styles work if a end-of-line continuation char '\' is found
4. Comments start with '//' in the first column
5. Other console-oriented shell commands implemented so far:
- mysql/mariadb: mysql>
- virsh: virsh #
Colours and styles for the above elements depend on the editor or tool
environment. For the pandoc markdown environment the colours come from
the highlight theme - the associated pandoc project uses a custom theme
named 'custom-highlight.theme'; see the associated Makefile.
This file can also be used by the 'kate' editor; place this file in
~/.local/share/katepart5/syntax/
and create any file named 'some-file-name.console'
