Multiple different narratives to keep in mind

1- SoV, price action, sound money has the most potential to attract holders with a financial background or interests who see CC as strong candidates for SoV long term.

2- cypherpunk, privacy, autonomy can connect with people who would prefer paying a premium than use centralized technology that steal their data. Those people already want to ditch the system right now even if it's complicated and not user friendly.

3- infrastructure, open source development, would target those interested in building that new infrastructure right now, and set the building blocks of what it will become. those are idealists, that could be devs, advocates interested in building and creating.

4- relatable messages and wider messaging is for people who are seeking inspiration and hope for something better. Those are not doers, and will not be holders short term, and may be premature to target, but will provide more visibility when it's "a thing", like the last bull run where everyone was craving bitcoin stories (cross-border payments, avoiding censorship).

Good points, foundational messaging could be extended to address those groups.

Re group 4, even if it is premature to target them in the main messaging doc we can always have another doc to collect any "up next" material.

Speaking of organizing this repo, I don't have any solid structure in mind right now and we will figure it out as we go, but in general I think it's ok to collect all useful PR knowledge from different people in multiple docs, and later reorganize/merge it.

praxis once mentioned that we should not exclude people who hold passively and don't vote or who just use DCR as a currency without delving into governance. i.e. do not only target "full time crypto people".

I'm not aware how many people felt that we only care about active voters and contributors, but regardless it is a good point to keep in mind. Risking one's money with DCR is big enough of a commitment already.

We now have an RFP to update messaging. This is a good moment to consider all issues identified in the previous iteration.
