Enabled amd pstate active and the extension stopped working. The extension says the following.

Oh no! Something went wrong.
The currently selected frequency scaling driver is not supported for your CPU!

I enabled the driver by adding amd_pstate=active initcall_blacklist=acpi_cpufreq_init to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT.

  • Check if you got the prerequisites right
    • pstate driver enabled and supported CPU
➤ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver
amd-pstate-epp
  • Check if the cpufreqctl utility works correctly
➤ cpufreqctl-pramodh info frequencies
error: the backend 'automatic' is not supported on your system!
  • Please include the following information (only for bugreports):
    • CPU Model - AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX
    • Linux kernel version - 6.3.13-060313-generic
    • policykit version - pkcheck version 0.105. (not sure if this is the one you are looking for)
    • Gnome shell version - 42.9
    • journalctl -xb (maybe pastebin/filtered) -

It also affects me. Could not find a solution yet.
