do you plan to support annotations/web highlights or notes in the future ?
is there any public roadmap for the project ?

Support for annotations and web highlights is on the radar. Adding notes specifically is currently being considered, and I'm still evaluating the best way to approach it and whether it fits the product direction in the right way. So it’s not confirmed yet, but it’s an open question.

Regarding the roadmap: there is no traditional public roadmap page at the moment. However, feature ideas are shared openly in GitHub Discussions → Ideas, where community users can see, comment on, and suggest features. That’s currently the best place to follow and influence what we work on next.

If you have a specific use case in mind for annotations or notes, I'd love to hear more, as it helps prioritize and design things better.
