A plugin to make a website compliant with european GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) law for european websites. We can extend for other countries policies as well (if is possible).

Haha, yeah, this could be interesting. I used to work somewhere that sent a LOT of email every day to UK subscribers (before Brexit), so I think most of the code is already built to do things the right way (see the DoNotContact field in https://docs.shinycms.org/Developers/Mailers/ for example, and the Mailers code in general) - but it hasn't been audited by a GDPR expert or anything.

I guess start by looking at the code in that Mailers file, and where it gets used by the ShinyList and ShinyNewsletter engines, and see if all that makes sense?

And then ask whatever questions you need to, and I'll try to answer them!
