The left menu needs some redesign to make it a bit more logical. There should be a new tab that allows various Cesium display settings to be switched on and off. And we should make the names of the other tabs more logical.

The tabs should be

  • Select (default)
  • Data
  • Display
  • Publish (?)

The Select tab should show the properties of the selected object.

The Data tab should include the Colour, Extrude, and Filters stuff. This tab is to do with exploring the data using these various options.

The Display tab should contain the Imagery button. The imagery should have a tick box, not a button. Other stuff will be added later.

The Publish tab should contain the UI for published models. But I think this is temporary, once we have an easy way of switching mode between Editor mode and Publish mode, then this tab will no longer be required.

Actually, it is a bit odd to have a imagery setting in the left menu, and selecting the type of imagery with a button in the right menu. I think maybe it is better to get rid of the imagery button in the right top hand corner. Then the imagery setting in the left menu can consist of a drop down menu, where the first item is 'None' (i.e. disable imagery).
