Thank you for this suggestion! What we want to describe here are messages, that are sent from me to myself. So I see the following possibilities:

1. Self messages (possible problem: could imply "automated messages")
2. Messages to Self (possible problem: is only half of the truth)
3. Own messages (possible problem: not properly describing the purpose)
4. Messages from me to myself (possible problem: a very long title)

After thinking about this for some days, I think I like @ovari's suggestion of Messages to Self, number 2 the most. Although not very representative: Twitter says 2 or 3.

If no one has any objections, it's 2 for now.

I'd highly suggest to not use Own messages - any message sent by myself, regardless of its chosen identity it was sent from, because any such message is my own. On the contrary, Messages to self clearly and bijectively states who sent a mail to whom.
