DevUnion Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

DevUnion is dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive community for developers of all backgrounds and skill levels. We are committed to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, nationality, or religion.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contribute to a positive environment include:

  • Using welcoming and inclusive language.
  • Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences. *Showing empathy towards other community members.
  • Gracefully accepting constructive feedback.
  • Focusing on what is best for the community.

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • The use of sexualized language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission.
  • Other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.

Enforcement

Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in consequences, including but not limited to:

  • Temporary or permanent banning from DevUnion spaces (repositories, Discord, events, etc.)
  • Removal of offending content.
  • Formal warnings.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior—or have any other concerns—please report it to our community moderators by emailing [kahinaben@devunion.dev]. All reports will be handled with discretion and confidentiality.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies within all DevUnion project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the organization.
