The jammer stats charts give a good visual idea for comparison but getting the actual number requires some guesswork in determining where the horizontal bars fall on the X axis.

A number overlay showing the X value being displayed, similar to how penalties show a horizontal bar with a number

Good idea. I should be able to add that soon.
Would it be helpful to have the same numbers in a more digestable format, too? In the executable version of jamstats, you can specify an output file with extension ".txt" or ".tsv". Currently, what goes in that file is a summary of each jam. But I could add a parameter that let you save other things instead, like the stuff in the jammers plot.

My current use case is to get some "game summary" stats for a finished game, so exporting the totals for number of jams, total score, mean net points per jam, etc. in a txt or tsv format would achieve the same goal. I think both would be useful; consuming the same info just in different ways.

I implemented the change to the jammer plots, and fixed a couple bugs while I was at it. I deployed the change to the web server. Let me know what you think, @atkinsonm .

The placement of the numbers is fiddly, and I could probably fiddle with it a bunch more and still not have it look great every time.

Looks great! I had cloned this to see if I could work on it but you beat me to it. The placement is readable which is the important thing.

Addressed in JamStats v3.5.2. @erevrav , you should probably grab this one.

@atkinsonm , if you ever want to chip in some code, I'd love to get you involved! If you wanted an easy place to start, you could check out what I did here (pull request) and do the same thing to the "skater plot" barplots.
