Fix HTTP query error messages reporting the multipart/form-data POST operation method as 'get'
Fix bug preventing HTTP device discovery from completing if a device cannot be contacted
Fix bug preventing EPG data from being transferred to Kodi if 'Show DRM protected channels in channel lineups' is enabled
Add a date/time stamp to the end of messages stored in the error log
Add new "Use HTTP proxy server for discovery operations" Advanced option
(Matrix / Nexus) Remove "Disable reporting of active Live TV tuner signal status" Interface option
(Matrix / Nexus) Trigger an EPG data resend to Kodi when option 'Use backend genre string(s) in Electronic Program Guide (EPG)' has changed
Fix HTTP query error messages reporting the multipart/form-data POST operation method as 'get'
This was a logging concern only, in the event of an HTTP error resulting from a multipart/form-data POST operation, the method was supposed to indicate 'form' rather than 'get'
Fix bug preventing HTTP device discovery from completing if a device cannot be contacted
This resolves a problem with the HTTP Cloud-based discovery setting. The HTTP device discovery data will list all HDHomeRun devices and DVR storage engines that were active on the user's network for approximately 24 hours. If a device / storage engine has been turned off, or in the case of a storage engine has a new StorageID and IP address, the addon would still attempt to contact this device during discovery and fail. Any failure during HTTP discovery will abort the process, leaving the discovery information and any tuner device authorization codes stale. The change was to allow a failure to contact any specific device to omit that device from the results rather than aborting.
Fix bug preventing EPG data from being transferred to Kodi if 'Show DRM protected channels in channel lineups' is enabled
This resolves a problem with the 'Show DRM protected channels in channel lineups' addon setting. When enabled, a logic error introduced with the XMLTV migration in December, 2019 would cause the internal database query for EPG data to only return data for channels marked as DRM. This would manifest as an essentially empty EPG in Kodi, and operations like Clear Data or forcing a new listing download would not correct it. The change corrects the logic error so that the EPG information will be sent properly.
Add a date/time stamp to the end of messages stored in the error log
This is a minor change to how the Client specific PVR setting 'List recent error messages' displays the information. Previously only the error message text was displayed. The error messages will only be cleared from here if the addon (or Kodi) is restarted, so there was no way to know how old any given error messages happened to be.
Add new "Use HTTP proxy server for discovery operations" Advanced option
This is a new feature that allows for an HTTP Proxy Server to be specified to route all discovery requests through. Live TV and Recorded TV streams will not go through the configured proxy. Kodi does not provide an easy way for an addon to see the globally configured proxy settings so to support this it has to also be done in the addon. Note that this feature should be considered "experimental", it wasn't quite finished and tested in time for this release, but it would have caused more harm than good to remove it.
(Matrix / Nexus) Remove "Disable reporting of active Live TV tuner signal status" Interface option
This setting was unnecessary as Kodi already supported this via Settings / PVR & Live TV / Playback / Show signal quality. To disable reporting of active Live TV tuner signal status, turn this option in Kodi off instead.
(Matrix / Nexus) Trigger an EPG data resend to Kodi when option 'Use backend genre string(s) in Electronic Program Guide (EPG)' has changed
When this setting is changed, the EPG information will be resent to Kodi automatically to refresh the guide rather than requiring the user to execute a Clear Data, which now matches the behavior of the 'Append repeat indicators to EPG episode names' setting. While the Leia version of the addon has the 'Use backend genre string(s) in Electronic Program Guide (EPG)' setting, it does not have the necessary internal functionality to perform this task so that baseline was omitted from this change.
