-El reporte mensual que aquí presentamos se basa en el Documento de Trabajo N°14: “Conectividad Terrestre. Diagnóstico turístico del mercado interurbano de pasajeros.” que analiza el flujo de pasajeros en servicios regulares de buses de media y larga distancia al interior del país entre enero de 2019 y octubre de 2023. En este marco, el actual trabajo busca continuar con la publicación periódica de estadísticas que muestren la evolución de los indicadores luego de la crisis pandémica y la posterior recuperación del sector.
-En el mes de junio, fueron contabilizados 35.648 viajes de buses de media y larga distancia en todo el país, lo que representa un 9,42% menos frente a un año atrás1. En total, en el acumulado anual, se realizaron 242.967 servicios regulares, un 10,25% menos si se compara con el mismo período del año previo.
-En el mismo mes, fueron transportados 1.322.248 pasajeros, un 15,79% menos con respecto a junio del año previo. En el acumulado anual, ello significa que viajaron hasta el momento 8.868.234 personas por el país, un 28,2% menos en comparación al mismo intervalo del año anterior.
-Con respecto al número de asientos disponibles en servicios regulares, en junio, fueron ofrecidos 1.893.588 asientos, lo que supone un 8,56% menos contra un año atrás, y, en lo que va del año, 12.870.905 asientos, 9,67% menos frente al mismo período previo.
-En lo respectivo a las regiones turísticas2, el Litoral fue la que más pasajeros recibió durante el mes de junio (303.967 en total). A la misma, le siguieron las regiones Norte y Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, con 226.594 y 220.342 pasajeros, respectivamente.

La ruta con más servicios en ambos sentidos es Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires - Rosario, con 3.196 frecuencias. Entre las rutas que no unen la Capital Federal con otros destinos del país, la que muestra más servicios es Salta - San Salvador de Jujuy, con 1.786 viajes. En el top 20 de rutas con más servicios del país 11 son porteñas y 9 son federales.

Con respecto al número de pasajeros, la ruta más transitada del mes es Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires - Rosario, con 39.381 pasajeros totales. Para con las rutas intrafederales, la más utilizada es Mendoza - San Juan, con 19.926 usuarios. En total, del top 20 de rutas con más pasajeros del país, 9 son porteñas y 11 son federales.

Hasta junio, existían en el país 616 rutas con 4 o más frecuencias mensuales, 1.75% menos con respecto al mismo mes del año pasado (627). De dicho total, 424 eran federales y 192 eran porteñas.
