in local host -- no problem
in plesk server -- is not possible to insert new password

We are going to need much more info to make this actionable. There is not relation between Plesk and DNN at all, Ples is just a hosting control panel. Once DNN is installed, technically Plesk and DNN don't talk to each other, so it must be something Plesk does wrong in the setup of the hosting for DNN.

Do you see anything in the browser console (F12 in most browsers)?
Do you see anything of interest in the logs at portals/_deafult/logs on the filesystem?
Does the worker process have read/write permissions on the hosting folder?
Is the database user in the dbOwner role?

Any other clues you may find different when doing a normal install vs using Plesk would be your solution...
