Cover and simmer, stirring occassionally, for 10 to 12 minutes:
- 8 ounces berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
Add, and increase the heat to high. Boil for 1-2 minutes.
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Optionally, strain the sauce to remove seeds.
Cover and refridgerate until chilled:
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
