Describe the feature you'd like
So I selected this layout:

Image

and i want to move some app to bottom left corner. i drag it, but if i don't click ctrl it will snap to 1/4 of my screen.

Additional (with the same layout) i have no apps on the left. And i want to snap app to take all space left of the left, but then, if I snap it, it will take 1/2 of my screen. And to do so i have to click ctrl+alt and select two grids to do something I could do with one shortcut or one mouse move

I will someday learn coding to be able to help in projects like this. Even more as I think that with GPL-2 you hope that Gnome could use it someday ;)
