Problem
My screen is constantly flipped 180 degrees from standard rotation. I am currently writing this with a wired keyboard so I can flip it over and type. Could you provide uninstall directions at the least so that I can remove the service until it is fixed?

Steps I have taken:

  • Listing all running services to look for a rotate service to turn off.
  • deleting the following folders/files:
  • ~/.config/auto-rotate

  • ~/.config/systemd/user/auto-rotate.service

It seems as though I have found the solution. While this did start happening before deleting all the files, i think it remained rotated after deleting them and I just needed to adjust the display settings. I will leave this open in case you want to look into rotation issues but for now I am set.

so i confess i've let this lapse as i no longer use a convertible.

but it takes action once, so it will indeed stay rotated.
