Sidetoc is not shown in API homepage

The sidetoc is not shown on my api homepage. When I navigate (e.g. via search) to an actual API page, it is displayed.

This occurs after I upgraded from 2.70.4 to 2.75.1.

I have a api/api.md homepage.

The API documentation is generated to obj/api/.

My toc.yml on root level looks like this:

If I manually copy over the toc.yml from obj/api/ to api/, the sidetoc is shown. But this was not necessary in the old version. And I would rather not generate all files into my api/ folder.

Possibly it has something to do with #9311 . I had to remove cwd. So in docfx.json, this is before (red) and after (green):

Any ideas how I can get it to work again? How can I display obj/api/toc.yml in the sidetoc for api/api.md?

After properly reading #9311, changing "cwd" to "src" instead of incorporating obj in the path, it works...
