I already installed Dotnet Sdk version 8 and 9 but none are being recognised in/by the .NET extension install tool(I installed and uninstalled them multiple times).

Sorry you're facing this -- but I cant help without some more information. Can you provide the log as described in the reporting a bug page / create new issue? I dont know how youre installing dotnet or how its not being recognized.
