FATAL: Don't know how to handle 'root=nfs

Hi, I am trying to boot a disk less machine with a rocky linux image.

These are the pxe kernel params sent to dracut:

I have a few questions:

1. why the machine reboots and does not show the shell?
2. why FATAL: Don't know how to handle 'root=nfs:148.187.115.13:/tmp/export/rootfs'? NOTE: I can access the nfs from another machine doing mount -t nfs 148.187.115.13:/tmp/export /tmp/nfs/

Ad 1) This really should never happen AFAIK, can you test with latest 057 release?

Ad 2) I don't really know what caused this, but please check whether it's fixed in the latest dracut first.
It might come from several places

• modules.d/99base/init.sh (unhandled)
• modules.d/40network/netroot.sh (there's some FIXME - but this shouldn't be this case as it doesn't handle nfs)

Nfs module doesn't seem to be called, or doesn't parse the option. It would be great if you can run it with debug -

As the first thing, you should check--using lsinitrd--whether the initrd in your image includes nfs module.

so I got rid of this error by creating a new initrd with the nfs module
