What's the status of the dreckly project? I see that commits are still being made to the GitHub repo, but I don't see much activity in Issues, Pull requests, and Discussions. Not that there have to be, of course, but I do feel like it's kind of hard to get a feel for what's going on in the project. (Is there a better way?) There's no mailing list with an archive, so I can't check that. There is the IRC channel, but I don't think there's an archive, and there wasn't any activity when I joined for a few hours, so I think I'd have to stay signed into the channel to follow any activity. So, I'm just wondering, is there still a commitment to dreckly? If so, I'd likely develop for it and use it instead of pkgsrc because I like dreckly's principle values and mission. Or, have there been changes in the culture of the pkgsrc project that make the need for the fork less pronounced such that there's an intention to eventually go back to pkgsrc and retire dreckly? Thanks! |

The status is that I'm still using it and accepting pull requests. I think jperkin lost interest, though. |
