Your docs say

... and a .remarkrc.js (or similar) configuration file in same folder hierarchy as the .md Markdown files that will be linted.

Would you be willing to support projects like

  • docs/foo.md
  • docs/bar.md
  • .remarkrc.js
  • CONTRIBUTING.md
  • README.md

which are normally linted via remark -f docs CONTRIBUTING.md README.md?
