Printcube flatbed printer?

I would like to add to the ability of my laser/cnc and turn it into a flatbed printer. XTOOL's M1 has a printer module and it looks like a modified Printcube to me. I am thinking about buying an Printcube and seeing if I can mod it to print on my laser/cnc projects. It seems doable to me to write gcode to move and initiate the print button on the Printcube. If I understand correctly Printcube can print large images? Do you think this could work?

Princube/MBrush uses an optical mouse sensor for movement distance detection, which has relatively large errors. In contrast, XTOOL's M1 printer module uses a magnetic encoder with much higher accuracy, ensuring edge alignment for multi-line printing.

The next-generation MBrush will also switch to encoder input signals and support both USB (CDC ACM) and RS485 (CDBUS), making it more convenient for users to DIY. It may be launched in about six months.

the extrusion on my x axis instead of from the material below the printer. It perfectly flat surface so I assume that would at least somewhat reduce errors. Does the printer print a consistent height? If so I can program that in my gcode.

Do you know how many pulses per mm the optical sensor generates on the mbrush?

The mouse sensor PAW3222 uses the SPI interface, not pulse or encoder AB signals, so you cannot replace it.
