In the spirit of HTTPS Everywhere, it would be advantageous to have http:// URLs for podcast feeds (when subscribing initially), artwork, and episode downloads be automatically rewritten to https://. Then if that fails (e.g. if the domain does not have HTTPS enabled), Doughnut falls back to http://.
HTTPS helps hide some information from internet service providers and others who may be monitoring network activity and blocking certain websites.
