Is this only about (spectroscopic) direct measurements or more general?

There is a separate issue proposed for indirect measurements, so maybe we should discuss separately for now but compare notes at the end of the day.

@joachimi @ssamuroff : following up on the sprint week discussion of preferred formats, there is a conversion between 2pt and SACC, from Joe Zuntz and David Alonso:

SACC will definitely be the preferred DESC format, which means collaboration tools will be most easily able to deal with it.
