How should the M2Eclipse Logo look like?

Currently we have this on the website as the official m2eclipse logo

but we actually don't use that much beside on the website and it looks a bit inexpressive compared to other project logos:

Therefore we currently investigating ways to rework/modernize it a bit and want to gather some feedback from you:

• What colors come into your mind when you think about M2Eclipse
• Are there any shapes / symbols or impressions do you associate with it
• Should it derive some aspects from its eco-system (e.g. Eclipse, Maven, ...)
• ...

So please share your ideas and impressions here!
