[BUG] - Provide UX feedback when adding Radio Stations without server support.

Describe the bug

Adding an Internet radio station does not work. After entering the details and tapping Save, nothing happens. There is no error message or confirmation, and the station does not appear in the radio list.
This happens every time, regardless of which stream URL is used.

Expected behavior

After tapping Save, the radio station should be added successfully and appear in the Radio list so it can be played.

Environment

• Android device: POCO F6 5G
• Android OS version: Android 15 (HyperOS)
• App version: 4.6.0
• App variant: Goole Play Services

Additional context

I’ve tried restarting the app, using different stream URLs
It feels like the Save action isn’t being triggered or the entry isn’t being persisted.

Hi @LbsLightX What back end are you using? This feature is back end dependent. this and the podcast feature do need work as they don't give any decent feedback since the work is on the server.

I’m not using or aware of any custom backend. I’m just using the app as installed, without configuring any server or external service on my side.

From a user perspective, it’s a bit confusing because the Radio UI allows adding stations and has a Save button, but nothing indicates that a backend is required or that the feature won’t work without it. Since there’s no error or warning, it feels like the Save action is broken.
Totally understand that this is backend dependent some feedback in the UI (like a warning, error message, or disabled Save button when no backend is configured) would really help avoid confusion.

Makes sense and yes it is confusing to not get a response back - although the app is just a front end - so I have to investigate the server response to return or display the correct message.
There is another ticket for this same lack of feedback on the podcast tab which works roughly the same way ->

So I will work on these 2 for a better experience. I just have the features i know don't work disabled.

Curious how you came upon this app. I have this in the usage and there's a blurb in the read me

Prerequisites

Important Notice: This app is a Subsonic-compatible client and does not provide any music content itself. To use this application, you must have:

An active Subsonic API server (or compatible service) already set up
Valid login credentials for your Subsonic server
Music content uploaded and organized on your server

There are no known public servers, this and the servers are for self hosters, people who self host their music and other stuff. You could set up a vps and put it on the cloud if you didn't want to host it at home. There's a couple of demo servers, navidrome, lms and ampache have limited features for a small sample test (i use them to test different servers sometimes)

but none have a radio use enabled, or podcast if I'm recalling correctly.

I was using Tempo with the Squidify server before this. I randomly found this app in sometime Discord server.
