Camera pictures/videos are not being encrypted

Steps to reproduce

1. go to a conversation
2. click on the + sign
3. select camera
4. take a picture or video
5. [Root] go to /data/data/installedapps/im.vector.app/files
6. You will see the picture or video taken there

Outcome

What did you expect?

Picture or video taken to be encrypted even on disk, decrypted when viewed or needed

What happened instead?

files are found in clear when they need to be encrypted.

I tried deleting the files in the im.vector/files directory which had a picture and a video from a conversation but it still be viewed in the conversation although it is deleted from the directory. Not sure why they are saved there for no reason
