Disable notification permission prompt

I am using both Element and Element X with the same account. I disabled Element's notifications via Android's permission system since I want to use X.

However, sometimes I do need to use it, e.g., to explore spaces. It always bothers me with a pop-up to enable permissions. Is there a way to disable that prompt? I don't want to enable them, otherwise I get every notification twice. :)
