UI/UX: Be consistent with usage of the term "room"

In Element's sidebar, the term "Rooms" is used only for group chats, suggesting the 1:1 chats under "People" are not rooms.

As an example, this became an issue for a user on my homeserver that left a space they were joined to and picked "leave all rooms", expecting to only leave the rooms listed under "Rooms" in the space, but instead they left all 1:1 chats with people from the same space. Since some of the chats' histories can now not be recovered, this simple inconsistency caused permanent damage in this case.

I think a combination of

• a) renaming "Rooms" in the sidebar to something else. Maybe the "Other Rooms" that is used for the corresponding space, which would incidentally also be
• b) communicating that the "People" section technically lists rooms aswell (rename "People" to "1:1 Rooms" or "Direct Messaging Rooms" or something maybe) and/or
• c) avoiding the term "Room" in every situation where it also includes the ones listed under "People"

could be a sensible UI improvement.
