Group Calls on iPhone in Element X App #3703

Steps to reproduce

  1. Where are you starting? What can you see?

The user with an iPhone joins a group call in the Element X app. The standard call interface is displayed, but connection issues occur intermittently.
2. What do you click?

The user clicks the button to join the group call.
3. More steps…

The user connects to the group call, but:
    Sometimes the connection is not established, and the user cannot hear participants from other platforms (Windows and Android).
    The issue occurs randomly, with no specific steps to reproduce.

When the iPhone screen is rotated 90 degrees:
    A "Loading..." message appears on the screen.
    After waiting, the user is disconnected from the call.

After reconnecting:
    Video from other participants is not always restored.

This issue is not observed on other platforms (Windows, Android).

Outcome

What did you expect?

The user should be able to join group calls seamlessly, hear participants from other platforms (Windows and Android), and maintain a stable connection.
Rotating the screen should adjust the call interface smoothly without disconnecting or showing a "Loading..." message.
After reconnecting, video from other participants should fully restore without additional issues.

What happened instead?

The user intermittently fails to connect to the group call and cannot hear participants from other platforms.
Rotating the screen causes a "Loading..." message to appear, followed by disconnection from the call.
After reconnecting, video from other participants does not always restore.

Additional Information:

The issue occurs only on iPhones, regardless of the model or iOS version.
The bug consistently appears in group calls and significantly impacts the user experience for iOS users.
