  • We currently offer downloads through the Universal Viewer only, which has a small unlabeled visual icon to toggle a download menu. Some users do not notice this option. For images, the Universal Viewer is also only providing compressed versions of files as processed by Cantaloupe and not the full quality version.

Provide a download menu or section of the page layout which is not dependent on the Universal Viewer.

  • Allow users to download all files in a work as a ZIP or other packaged file
  • Allow users the option to download original full-quality files or the compressed versions shown in the Viewer

Status quo: rely solely on what the Universal Viewer provides
