Since ms.Schema.Customer.add returns undefined instead of the mongoose model there's no way to add post or pre validators.

Is there another way apart from what's shown in the README to extend the schema?

I was hoping like most mongoose plugins it'd be added to the mongoose schema by using User.plugin(mongooseSubscriptions, {});.
