Suggestion: remove temporary layer icon when changing data source to a permanent file

Hi, thanks for a plugin that is still so useful.
I typically use it when I have generated a raster as a temporary output using a processing tool, and later decide I want to keep it. I copy the file to somewhere permanent and then change the datasource.
The QGIS layers panel now shows an icon on the right hand side indicating temporary output layers (the same as vector memory layers). When I change the datasource to a permanent file the icon is still present. It would be good if the plugin could remove the icon.

There's another thing that would be good for a different use case, and would probably involve similar code:
Sometimes QGIS loses the connection to a layer due to network issues, including I think when the computer wakes up from sleep, resulting in errors like this:

This plugin is great for reloading a layer like this (without actually changing the data source), but the warning icon stays in the layer tree. It would be good if the plugin could make the warning go away.
