Application Blocked by Microsoft

Hello. This application used to work without a problem on my windows machine. However, as security is getting tighter, I am not able to run it anymore. Previously, it was flagged by security as "malicious" (or something like that). I tried to run the latest version. Microsoft is blocking it now with no option to override. Please advise.
