Broken, GIT usage in Windows is broken

All it does is hang, what is the branch that removes git feat-disable-git supposed to do? Can we remove git altogether from this project? I spent countless hours, it just hangs, sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't..

I spent way too much time on this. I have had to rebuild the source and barely am making any progress.

Is GIT essential to this project?

Solution - use Linux through WSL instead

Maybe part of the problem is that GIT is not working with claude and uv correctly:

The only way I could get this to work is if I manually issue the following command
